Kirsten is an adventure enthusiast and can often be found outdoors exploring her northern playground and out-fishing her friends and family. Her hobbies include ice fishing for lake trout, river fishing for coho salmon, open water fishing for king salmon, and deep water fishing for halibut.

Kirsten has a background in Neuroscience along with her degrees in Physics and Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology. Her most recent research investigated both structural abnormalities in the brain in patients who suffer from Schizophrenia and Psychosis, and the role that Neuroplasticity and Neurogenesis play in neuropathology and neurobehavioural rehabilitation.

Kirsten is an avid Crossfitter and has been passionate about athletics and coaching her entire life playing competitively in Soccer, Hockey, Basketball and Track. In addition to being a Real Estate Ninja, she is a Registered Kinesiologist, a Clinical Physiologist, a Clinical Exercise Scientist, and a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist.

Volunteer Work

Kirsten is an advocate for anti-bullying and youth mentorship. She is the co-creator of an anti-bullying initiative for vulnerable students called BASE (Building a Safer Environment) which she has successfully implemented in highschools across the BC lower mainland. Kirsten is also passionate about her long time volunteer work with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada and is a proud supporter of Special Olympics Yukon.
